Frequently Asked Questions: Orb Activity Tracker
Orb is displaying a red light
Posted Jon Gaglione on 16 November 2016 12:12 PM

There are two scenarios in which you may get a red light on your Orb.

- Solid red light AFTER trying to send data (after solid green light / on-demand pushing the data) means Orb couldn’t connect.
Ensure that your synced device has both a Bluetooth connection, and a solid internet connection.
Restart your phone by turning it off and back on, and resend your data.
Android Users: please note that on some Android devices "Location Services" will need to be active.

- Red light flashing 3 times immediately after pressing the button means low battery (under 5%).
With general use of your Orb we recommend that you change your battery every 3-4 months.
We suggest that you change the battery early in the morning before your start your day, since changing battery will delete the steps for the current day.
The Orb uses a CR2032 3V battery, which can be purchased from a local retailer.

Once the battery is replaced, we advise to re-pair the device to Kiqplan. You can do so by following these steps:

-Open the Kiqplan app

-Activate bluetooth and location services

-Tap on the top left menu

-Tap on "Settings"

-Tap on "Tracking Devices & Apps"

-Tap on "Activity"

-Tap on "Orb" to un-pair

-Tap on "Orb" to re-pair

-Key in the last five digits on the back of your Orb and tap "Done"

-Hold the button on your Orb until the yellow light appears

Your Orb will now be paired to your Kiqplan account. Simply open the app and press the button on the Orb once to send your steps to the app on demand.
